Disease Of The Broken Heart
Did you know that a broken heart is, and can be a very serious illness? Most people will simply scoff at you and tell you to shrug it off, especially in the United States, because as a culture we are "workers" especially if you find yourself upstate along the eastern boarder. Being tough becomes part of your wardrobe practically. However, as science is progressing, and finally beginning to acknowledge depression as a very serious, and sometimes life threatening disease..
you have to consider the possibility that a broken heart can be just as menacing. After all, many cases of serious chronic depression are actually caused by a such a thing as a broken heart. People have literally died and lost the will to live, though that class of demographics is usually held for the elderly, it has been known to reach the younger generations as well. Think about the last time your girlfriend or boyfriend literally "broke" your heart! How did it make you feel? Trust me, coming from someone who can for sure relate, it is a horrible experience, but we move on, we fight our way through it, we get mad, we place blame, whatever it takes to mend our own pride, because that's what we have to do in this day and age just keep on moving.
How many people can you name right now, who may not ever admit to it, but have had their feet just ripped right out from under them by a significant other? How many people do you know today that are walking around with a broken heart? I Can't speak for anyone else, but I know quite a few. Sometimes people just need a little help, maybe if your reading this, you are one of them. Just know that though dealing with the loss of a love, or a broken heart can be one of most isolating and loneliest journeys we as human-beings ever face, you are not alone! Just take a deep breath, and keep your hold on the situation, and I am sure you will be just fine.
Below we have sorted out a few serious symptoms of a broken heart, with some helpful tips. Our hope is that they may offer you a bit of peace, and some better understanding of just what it means to be human, after all, it is only when you open up your heart to love, that your heart can be broken In the first place.
1. Loss of Appetite. Sooo many people refuse to eat when they are suffering on the inside. This happens in both relationships, and during the grieving process. We have found that sweet "comfort" foods can quickly reverse this disorder very quickly. Find a food that you truly enjoy and don't be afraid to treat yourself.
2. Feelings of isolation- This is quite common during a break up, considering the person you would have normally shared this sort of experience with in the past is the one causing it..This will come and go quickly. Just keep in mind, all the millions and millions of people who have ever walked the earth. Many of them walked alone, some of them died alone, more then likely this will not be your story, but it helps to keep the idea in your head that you are not the first person to experience this sort of trauma, and you certainly will not be the last.
3. *Anger! (be prepared and be careful with this one, this anger can be directed towards other people, or even yourself!) Take a walk, play the situation like a chess board. The cooler you present yourself during these trials and tribulations, the better you will look to others, and the better you will feel about how you handled the situation when you look back on this as a dusty memory.
4. Don't Hate. If you can't work it out, what you do now, and how you carry yourself can echo around you in ways you can't even imagine. Continue to work, laugh, and smile. Life does go on, and the speed at which this happens often depends on ourselves. How long will you allow yourself to feel this empty and drab inside?
5. If you do have the strong urge to get even with the one who hurt you the most..why not do it in a positive healthy manner? The next time you see her, or him, smile! Laugh, be happy, don't dare throw anything in their face, but just get the message out that you are not hurting! You are fine, and have already started to move on. This will tick your partner off like NOTHING else could. The wonderful thing about this trick is you did nothing wrong..considering you are polite about it. Who knows what could happen, but about 50% of the time the other person will begging for another chance with you, now you have the ball in your court.

Let's see. If you are really concerned, you can fly south for the winter. Birds have no soul of their own (some birds have to imitate us to begin to develop one, even then it's a cheap copy) and they head to warmer climates. You could Hibernate, because bears have no soul (Ever try to talk religion with a bear? it'll just eat you alive, man.) so they just find a warm hole and sleep through the winter.
Dogs. Now there are some clever, soulless individuals. They hook up with Man, so that man cares for them during the harsh weathers. A dog would sell his soul (if he had one) to the devil for a juicy steak. A well trained (read BEATEN AND MADE FEARFUL) dog might hesitate, but would WANT to eat that steak, and would be thinking about it really really hard.
Cats. Soul stealers. Hey now, I'm not saying anything against them. Historically, they have been accused of stealing the lifebreath out of a baby's mouth. They were always the trusted familiars of witches. What kind of soul are we talking about in one of those cute furballs? And they kind of did the same thing with man, only better. They get man to care for them during the harsh months, and they get to act like they don't care. Sweet deal.
So take it from nature. There are lots of ways to keep your soulless heart from freezing. But let's be technical. Shouldn't you be using Anti-Christ to keep your atheist heart from Christ this winter? And you should use Anti-Freeze to keep your atheist heart from Freezing this winter. That's the ticket.
